LHU Delegation's working session at University of Health Sciences (VNUHCM)

[Ho Chi Minh City] – On February 28th, 2025 – The delegation from Lac Hong University (LHU), led by its Rector, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, undertook a visit and working session at the University of Health Sciences (UHS), a member institution of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM-UHS). Accompanying the Rector were Dr. Le Phuong Truong, Head of the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance, and Ms. Ngo Dinh Hoang Diem, M.A., Deputy Head of the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance. The working meeting was conducted in an open atmosphere and was met with a warm welcome from representatives of the Board of Management and esteemed faculty members of the University of Health Sciences.

During the session, representatives from both universities engaged in in-depth discussions regarding potential avenues for collaboration, with a particular focus on the development of student outcomes (SOs) measurement software specifically tailored for health sciences disciplines. This is a specialized field that demands high levels of professional competency and strict adherence to quality accreditation requirements. The primary objective of the deliberations was to design a comprehensive assessment system that ensures both scientific rigor and objectivity, while also aligning with the SO standards mandated by the Ministry of Education and Training, as well as reputable national and international accreditation bodies.
