    Collaboration for SDG best practice

    I. The InnoAIQA-VN Project

LHU is a key partner in the project "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Quality Assurance in Vietnam (InnoAIQA-VN)", which focuses on using innovative technology to improve the quality of education (SDG 4).

    1. International Collaboration and Review of Comparative Approaches:

International Sponsorship: The project is a major DIES NMT 2025-2026 Programme initiative , sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

    • International Supervision: The project involves the direct supervision of an international representative, Ms. Xia Qin from the University of Potsdam, Germany. This ensures that the quality assurance practices and AI applications developed are reviewed against international academic standards and methodologies, fulfilling the criterion of reviewing comparative approaches.2. Developing International Best Practice:

Dissemination of Good Practice: LHU is recognized as an excellent model for proactively applying AI in management, training, and quality improvement. The Center for Education Accreditation (CEA) explicitly partnered with LHU to disseminate LHU's model and good practices to other participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Vietnam.

    • Practical Best practice Sharing: LHU is the host and a primary presenter for the first training workshop on "Application of AI in Higher Education Quality Assurance" (November 27, 2025). This workshop directly develops and shares practical best practices by showcasing:

      1. LHU's software for measuring Learning Outcomes (CĐR).
      2. The use of AI to analyze the novelty of research topics and research gaps compared to international publications.
      3. AI applications for quality monitoring by analyzing output data (e.g., high dropout rates, low course quality, reduced employment rates).
    1. Campus tours to LHU's AI Lab and Open Lab to demonstrate AI-related projects.

II. Collaboration for SDG 7/9/13 (Green Tech and Climate Action): The GTSD2024 Conference

LHU contributes to the development of best practice for climate-related SDGs through active participation in international scientific forums.

    1. International Collaboration and Research:

Multi-National Cooperation: An LHU faculty member, Prof. Nguyen Vu Quynh, was invited to serve as a Session Chair for the 7th International Conference on Green Technology and Sustainable Development (GTSD2024). This conference is a significant international effort organized in collaboration with universities from Thailand and Taiwan, and is held under the auspices of the IEEE SMCS (USA).

    2. Reviewing Comparative Approaches and Developing Best Practice:

Expert Review: The LHU professor was specifically recognized as an expert in the field with valuable insights into recent advancements.

    • Focus on SDG-related Best Practice: By chairing the session on Renewable Energy and Smart Grid (BS5-A), LHU's expert directly engaged in reviewing, validating, and guiding the research discourse on crucial technologies for clean energy (SDG 7) and sustainable infrastructure (SDG 9), thereby contributing to the development and dissemination of international best practices in these sustainable development areas.
