The First Business Administration Training Programme in Dong Nai to Achieve AUN-QA Accreditation.

In 2021, Lac Hong University officially received notification from AUN that the Business Administration training programme had completed the assessment process and was accredited as meeting AUN-QA standards. The Business Administration major of Lac Hong University is the first programme in Dong Nai Province within the Business field to achieve AUN-QA accreditation and the sixth programme of the University to meet AUN-QA standards in the province. The Business Administration programme obtained a score of 4.09/7 (Level 4: meets AUN requirements; Level 5: exceeds AUN expectations). This result contributes to elevating the University’s training brand to a new level. It serves as strong evidence of quality assurance from strategic orientation and systemic management to the implementation of training, scientific research, engagement, and community service functions of Lac Hong University.

To achieve this result, over the past period, the University assigned specialized staff teams to participate in self-assessment training and to learn from universities whose programmes had already achieved accreditation. In addition, the University invited reputable experts to conduct self-assessment training sessions for the Faculty’s staff, lecturers, and employees. Accordingly, the University has gradually adjusted and enhanced the quality of its training activities, scientific research, technology transfer, staff development, and enterprise and community engagement.

At present, AUN places strong emphasis on quality assessment and activities such as faculty and student exchanges, and credit-based articulation among universities. One of the key conditions for these activities to proceed smoothly is that training programmes must be accredited for quality assurance. The accreditation of the Business Administration training programme of Lac Hong University under AUN-QA standards has become a driving force for the University to steadfastly pursue its goal of becoming a quality university in Vietnam as well as in the region.
