Representing Lac Hong University, PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE – delivered insightful remarks at the seminar, focusing on intellectual property (IP), as well as the role and importance of intellectual property strategies in the technological era. One of the key tasks set for the IP system is to ensure that it is built and operated effectively to foster innovation, promote the commercialization of intellectual assets, and significantly contribute to socio-economic development.

In implementing business strategies, enterprises must mobilize resources to research, create, and/or utilize various intellectual property objects. Therefore, enterprises need to systematically consider necessary measures to orient research, investment, and resource allocation for creative activities, protection, management, and enforcement of intellectual property rights in order to maximize benefits derived from IP rights. Most importantly, enterprises need to develop intellectual property strategies in a scientific and appropriate manner. For intellectual property to truly become a special type of asset that enhances value and generates profit for enterprises, it must be strategically managed and utilized.
