    Female Student Achieves the Title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria”, Twice Recognized as “Outstanding Officer”.

    “Excellent Students in 5 Criteria” honored at the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association.

    On the morning of January 7, 2022, the Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Dong Nai Student Association organized a program to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2022).

    On this occasion, the Dong Nai Student Association conducted a commendation ceremony for collectives and individuals who achieved the title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria” at the Central level and the “January Star” Award in 2021; honored 7 collectives and 159 individuals who achieved the provincial-level title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria” for the academic year 2020 – 2021; and recognized 22 outstanding key Student Association officers.

    Lac Hong University is honored to have 10 individuals awarded the title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria”. Specifically, at the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE), Ms. Đỗ Thị Hải Yến – Class 18QT112 – is a student with outstanding academic achievements. Not only excelling academically, Hải Yến is also dynamic, enthusiastic, and compassionate. She actively participates in activities organized by the Faculty and the University, and also joined the “Green Summer” campaign in 2019 organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Dong Nai Volunteer Movement (1994–2019).

    It is known that the campaign that year was carried out at Trị An Lake with many difficulties and challenges. Thanks to her determination, resilience, and continuous efforts, Hải Yến and other participating students successfully completed their assigned tasks and made proud contributions. Those hardships and profound emotions were later expressed through her writing in a piece titled “The First Time I…”. Her work was honored among 64 entries in the 2019 Volunteer Diary Writing Contest.

    Through participating in Youth Union and Student Association activities at the University and Faculty, she gained practical experience, contributed her youthful energy, shared with the community, and acquired valuable real-life skills beyond textbooks. Hải Yến has twice received the title “Outstanding Officer”. It was also through her involvement in Youth Union and Student Association activities that she achieved the title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria”. To earn this title, each individual must strive and improve in academic performance, research, ethics, physical fitness, volunteer activities, and integration. Achieving these five criteria equips each student with confidence and strong capabilities for work after graduation.

    After persistent efforts and determination, Hải Yến achieved the title “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria”, becoming a shining example and a core member in programs and activities organized by the Faculty and the University. With her future orientation, Hải Yến will continue to promote her role, constantly study and conduct research to further improve herself, becoming more resilient and successful. It can be seen that the “Excellent Student in 5 Criteria” movement is increasingly affirming its role as a suitable environment for students to confidently assert and develop themselves.
