Smoke-free policy
The University implements a smoke-free policy across all campuses, buildings, and facilities (reviewed annually). Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all University buildings to protect the health and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors.
1. No smoking shelters or designated smoking areas are provided on campus.
2. Clear signage prohibits smoking and vaping within 6.5 metres of building entrances and access points.
3. The University also shares infographics and awareness materials through internal communication channels and its official website to raise awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco and second-hand smoke and encourage smoking cessation.
Through policy, signage, and health awareness activities, the University helps reduce exposure to tobacco smoke and promotes healthier behaviours across the University community.
