FAIE: Proactive in Cooperative Partnerships to Increase Opportunities for Students.

Recently, FAIE conducted a visit, meeting, and discussion on cooperation and mutual development with Dat Viet Tourism Company at 14:30 on 24 February 2022, with the participation of:

1. PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE;

2. MB Vu Duc Cuong – Head of the Division of Tourism Operations and Tour Guiding;

3. Vo Thai Sinh – Corporate Relations Officer of FAIE.

In order to help students majoring in Tourism and Travel Management gain practical professional knowledge, develop soft skills, learn how to plan their work, manage time, cultivate professional manners, adapt to corporate environments and cultures, develop teamwork and independent working skills, build the ability to handle work pressure, integrate into the community, and enhance personal capacity, FAIE proactively established cooperation with Dat Viet Tourism Company. During the working session, both parties agreed on several contents:

To train and develop a high-quality workforce of Bachelor’s degree holders in Tourism and Travel Management. To introduce suitable students for internships at the Company. To introduce graduates with good or higher academic performance to the Company for recruitment purposes. To prioritize and facilitate Dat Viet Tourism Company in organizing and implementing programs, events, product exhibitions, and brand promotional materials at the Faculty. To arrange for Faculty lecturers with relevant expertise to visit the enterprise for experiential learning, knowledge exchange, and access to new technologies in order to enhance professional knowledge for teaching purposes. To coordinate with Dat Viet Tourism Company in implementing brand promotion plans and introducing the Company’s products through class meetings, programs, and events organized by the Faculty. To create favorable conditions and accept students of the Faculty for internships at the Company. To provide practical guidance and advanced training in professional knowledge, expertise, and skills for students. To support the Faculty with certain teaching equipment for instructional purposes. To consider providing support and awarding scholarships to students of the Faculty who are in difficult circumstances and achieve good academic results. To participate in scientific research report evaluation councils and graduation report evaluation councils for students interning at the Company.

Given the current social demand for human resources, finding employment is not difficult. Instead of worrying or hesitating, students should begin preparing the necessary and sufficient conditions before entering the labor market in order to seize career opportunities. The Company commits to supporting and coordinating with the Faculty and the major to develop a long-term and sustainable strategy.

Dat Viet Tourism Company also provides accommodation support for out-of-town students during their internship, experiential activities, or collaboration with the Company. Dat Viet affirms its mission and the importance of training and guiding interns, ensuring that students acquire values, knowledge, and practical experience that meet societal and job requirements.

The visit and working session of the delegation gradually contributes to the improvement of the training program, plans, and orientations of the Faculty and the major, increasing opportunities for students and helping the Tourism and Travel Management major of Lac Hong University further develop and stand alongside peer institutions in education and training.
