Economic Law Major “Maintaining Cooperation – Strengthening Relationships”.

Lunar New Year of the Year of the Tiger 2022 was an opportunity for the Faculty leadership and lecturers to visit and extend New Year greetings to partner organizations, expressing gratitude and strengthening mutual ties and cooperation. As part of the Corporate Relations Department’s plan, the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE) organized visits and New Year greetings to partner units within Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.

Over time, there has been mutual support and assistance between the partner units and the Faculty, further strengthening the close relationship as both sides have developed cooperative policies in education, training, human resource supply, and addressing social issues. The Economic Law major at Lac Hong University was established with the aim of supplying human resources for legal departments related to economic law, resolving issues arising in the process of state economic organization and management, as well as in business activities among economic entities. The development orientation of the Economic Law major at Lac Hong University is to produce high-quality graduates who meet the needs of organizations, enterprises, and society in managing and organizing the market economy, especially in the context of strong global economic integration where complex issues frequently arise and require legal intervention. This demands graduates specialized in Economic Law. Bien Hoa, known as a key industrial hub, requires a substantial workforce in Economic Law to support enterprises and organizations in legal matters, etc.

During discussions between the Faculty leadership and partner units, there was mention of cooperation with the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association to establish a legal support center. In response to the Association’s needs, the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics will provide qualified staff and lecturers to support the Association, while also collaborating to create internship and practical training opportunities for students, enabling them to apply theory in real-life contexts. Modern education requires learning to go hand in hand with practice, meeting real-world demands, with the goal of forming and developing practical competencies for learners—sometimes practice must even outweigh theory—to provide authentic experiences and real exposure.

In recent years, FAIE at Lac Hong University has continuously strengthened cooperation and expanded relationships. Specifically, the Economic Law major has worked with the Faculty leadership and the Internship Management and Corporate Relations Department to reaffirm cooperative relationships between the Faculty and enterprises and relevant organizations, through both direct and indirect interactions. The common goal is mutual support for shared benefits.

In implementing training programs and development strategies for mutual benefit, this linkage enables Lac Hong University to further enhance training quality and produce graduates who have gained practical experience. On the enterprise and association side, they can benefit from a stable source of high-quality human resources. The aim is long-term cooperation to deliver “products” aligned with practical requirements, meeting labor market demands, helping enterprises improve human resource quality and establish competitive advantages in the market.

In the future, FAIE will reorient its strategy to strengthen cooperation and sustainably maintain relationships in training linkages among the Faculty, the University, enterprises, organizations, associations, Bar Associations, etc., ensuring thoughtful and effective implementation. The objective is to balance the supply and demand of high-quality human resources.

To ensure that graduates meet the requirements of organizations—especially in addressing the imbalance between supply and demand of high-quality human resources—both sides need to collaborate from the stages of training, scientific research, and technology transfer. Organizations can proactively cooperate with the Faculty to seek and “order” high-quality human resources that meet their standards. It is hoped that partner units will continue to accompany the Faculty and the University in the training process.

Wishing all partner units a joyful and happy spring season, prosperous business operations, flourishing development, and continued growth.
