    Opening Remarks

In the opening speech, the organizing committee shared:

“The Entrepreneurship Forum is a practical program that helps participants better understand the nature of entrepreneurship. It serves as a platform for sharing valuable experiences and effective startup models. The goal is to create a favorable environment that encourages and supports individuals in legitimate wealth creation, mindset transformation, and innovation. The forum promotes proactive spirit and the creative application of scientific, technological, and economic knowledge into real-life production and business. Participants’ questions and challenges will be addressed and supported by the speaker.”

    Encouraging Local Startup Potential

In recent years, several local projects have participated in startup competitions, leveraging the district’s available products and resources. Although some projects did not fully meet competition requirements, the entrepreneurial spirit and confidence demonstrated by participants showed remarkable effort and promising results.

Recognizing that many startup ideas have yet to be realized and that some models have encountered failure, union members and young entrepreneurs are encouraged to be bold, proactive, deeply research their ideas, and maintain close interaction with professional agencies related to entrepreneurship.

    Main Discussion Topics

The forum covered six key topics:

    1. Reasons for entrepreneurship in the new era

    2. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    3. Startup pathways for union members and youth in Dong Nai Province

    4. Business models and business planning

    5. Startup finance

    6. Feng Shui in entrepreneurship

Drawing from practical experience and expertise, Dr. Nguyen Van Tan shared startup knowledge and skills, provided consultation on opportunities and relevant fields, inspired participants’ entrepreneurial dreams, and guided them to leverage local advantages for sustainable development and contribution to provincial growth.

Promoting Startup Clubs and Ecosystem Development

Participants were encouraged to establish Startup Clubs within their local organizations. These clubs would serve as effective development platforms and bridges connecting local residents, youth, and students with businesses, associations, startup competitions, and innovation programs. Through this collaboration, training programs and mentorship activities can be transferred, potential projects can join provincial and national competitions, and entrepreneurs can connect with investors.

Dr. Nguyen Van Tan also introduced Lac Hong University’s “6-Component Incubation Model,” currently implemented effectively by the university’s Startup Club and capable of being transferred to support the incubation and development of startup ideas and projects.

    Conclusion

Raising awareness about entrepreneurship is never easy. To further promote entrepreneurial activities among union members and youth in the province, Dr. Nguyen Van Tan expressed his commitment to continuing support and collaboration through forums, competitions, and startup development initiatives in the coming years.

The program concluded at 11:00 AM the same day, providing inspiration, facilitating connections among startup ideas and projects, and opening new opportunities for entrepreneurship development among youth in Trang Bom District.
