Overview

This is the next management-level position after Product Specialist. This role requires strategic planning, product development and close collaboration with other departments to ensure product objectives are fully met.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic planning and product development.

Working closely with other departments (marketing, sales, R&D) to ensure product objectives are met.

Possessing in-depth product knowledge (ingredients, uses, dosage, indications, contraindications, side effects, drug interactions).

Understanding the target market (market analysis, segmentation, customer behavior/needs research, trend monitoring).

Competitive analysis (monitoring activities, analyzing the company's product strengths/weaknesses compared to competitors, predicting competitor actions).

Understanding regulations in the pharmaceutical industry (Pharmaceutical Law, legal documents, GMP, GSP, GLP, GDP).

Ensuring all product-related activities comply with the law.

Actively participating in product development projects (research, idea, test, launch).

Enhancing leadership and management skills (leading small teams, organizing, coordinating, managing people).

Developing time and project management skills (using tools, planning, monitoring progress, evaluating effectiveness).

Developing the ability to read and analyze data reports (Google Analytics, IQVIA, Nielsen, market research reports).

Making decisions based on data.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Marketing, or Business Administration...

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, Sales, or Product Management at a pharmaceutical company. Candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar position and a proven career progression from Product Specialist to Product Manager are preferred.

Good understanding of hospital bidding, the Vietnamese pharmaceutical market and competitors.

Flexible management skills to develop and motivate a team.

Strong analytical skills.

Leadership skills and the ability to communicate new ideas.

Experience in marketing and understanding of product positioning.

Experience in digital marketing and event organization is an advantage.

Ability to work under high pressure.

Good English skills.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical products/market.

Understanding of the pharmaceutical business market, distribution systems, and sales.

Service/Customer-oriented.

Experience in multi-channel marketing.

Excellence in prioritization, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Ability to lead, manage teams, coordinate work effectively, communicate clear objectives and motivate employees.

Ability to analyze and evaluate the pharmaceutical market and industry trends, and develop appropriate strategies.
