Emotion Station

EMOTION STATION – Lac Hong University supports students mental health

"Emotion Station" is a mental health communication and support initiative for Lac Hong University students. It aims to facilitate the early identification of psychological challenges and encourages students to proactively seek help when needed.

The model operates through a three-step process: identifying emotions, stabilizing and connecting to support. Through activities such as drawing emojis, using "emotion-need" cards and following brief stabilization guides, students are encouraged to pause, gain clarity on their emotional state, understand their needs and know where to find a listening ear.

When difficulties persist, overwhelm, or begin to impact academic performance and daily life, the Emotion Station serves as a vital connection point, helping students gain earlier access to peers, trusted individuals and professional support.

Core Message:

Mental health care shouldn't wait until we are already overwhelmed. Early identification of emotions, understanding one's own needs and proactively seeking support are simple yet meaningful steps toward safeguarding student mental health.
