At Lac Hong University (LHU), learning extends far beyond textbooks. Students are empowered to take initiative, practice, innovate, and, most importantly, witness the tangible value of their contributions to the community. The recent launch of an AI Chatbot model designed to assist citizens in looking up administrative procedures serves as a clear testament to LHU students' journey of "learning by doing."

Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector, delivered a speech.
Developed by the University's Faculty of Information Technology, the product was unveiled during the ceremony celebrating Vietnam Science and Technology Day on May 18th. LHU co-hosted this event with the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, showcasing the AI Chatbot's practical application within the province to meet the public's need for information on administrative procedures in the field of science and technology—a significant stride in local digital transformation efforts.
What is particularly remarkable is that the product's formation and development involved the direct participation of LHU students—from needs assessment, data analysis, and programming to trial implementation. In LHU's training model, students are no longer passive learners; they become active partners in teaching, learning through projects, addressing real-world problems, and creating tangible value.
Dr. Huynh Cao Tuan, Director of the Center for Information and Documentation, presented the functionalities of the AI Chatbot model.
With a teaching philosophy that links learning with research, research with application, and application with community service, LHU is cultivating a dynamic learning environment that ignites the spirit of innovation in every student. Lecturers are not just knowledge transmitters but also mentors who guide students in finding solutions to societal challenges.
The AI Chatbot product, though a technological model, embodies a profound humanistic educational philosophy: education is not merely about excelling, but about living a purposeful life.
This success clearly illustrates the character of LHU students: they are unafraid of challenges, proactive in learning, and ready to innovate. Above all, they possess an unwavering belief in knowledge—that what they learn today will bring about change tomorrow.
The launch of the AI Chatbot, developed by Lac Hong University (LHU) students, epitomizes the university's core mission to deliver practical and impactful education. This initiative directly aligns with LHU's commitment to fostering a learning environment where students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also apply it to address real-world challenges. By transforming academic assignments into functional solutions for the community, LHU actively contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
Ultimately, LHU's initiative in developing the AI Chatbot showcases its dedication to nurturing a generation of proactive, innovative, and socially responsible individuals. This project underscores the university's belief that education is a powerful tool not just for personal growth, but for driving societal progress and contributing to a sustainable future.
