On March 11, 2026, at the award ceremony of the Automation Machine Design Competition 2026 organized by MISUMI Vietnam, three student teams from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, LHU were honored with one Third prize and two Consolation prizes. Specifically, Team LH-LTA received the Third prize, while Team LH-TKAT and Team LH-AUTX were awarded Consolation prizes.

The Automation Machine Design Competition 2026, jointly organized by MISUMI Vietnam and ITO Vietnam Co., Ltd., is a prestigious academic playground for engineering students in Southern Vietnam.
This year’s competition gathered 266 contestants forming 54 teams from 8 technical universities, including HCM City University of Technology and Education; HCM University of Technology (VNU-HCM); Industrial University of HCM City; LHU; HCM City University of Technology (HUTECH); University of Science, Vietnam National University – HCM City; Van Lang University, and Can Tho University of Technology.
Participating teams went through multiple rigorous evaluation rounds, including concept development, technical drawings, system simulation, and final presentations with defense sessions before a panel of experts.
The achievement of three teams from LHU at the Automation Machine Design Competition 2026 clearly demonstrates the strong training quality and practice-oriented learning approach of the University’s Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics.
Through the competition, LHU students have opportunities to enhance their engineering design and simulation skills; develop teamwork and presentation skills; engage with real-world engineering challenges from industry; build a strong professional portfolio (CV) before graduation,...

These achievements reflect not only the students’ dedication and hard work but also the devoted guidance of lecturers from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics.
In the coming time, the University will continue to support students in participating in technology competitions, scientific research activities, and industry collaboration programs, contributing to the development of a new generation of innovative, dynamic engineers who meet the demands of modern industry.
